Wine

Inebriate with the flavors and scents of tradition...

For over thirty years we have vinified grapes directly in our cellar and produced wine only according to tradition, with the highest quality standards.

Small measures, but that make the wine great: we harvest all our grapes by hand in small cases, we press them at very low pressure, and we only use natural yeasts to enhance their potential.

We produce seven types of wine: three white, three red and one rosé:

I LOGGI

IGT Bianco Umbria

Wine obtained from a blend of Trebbiano Toscano (75%), Grechetto (15%) and Malvasia (10%), harvested manually between the second and third ten days of September from vineyards reared in spurred cordon with an average production of about 90 tons/hectare. Transported in small cases and pressed at low pressure. Fermentation with natural yeasts without temperature control. Short refinement in steel and only mechanical filtration before bottling.

Sensory Card

Straw yellow color, opens to the nose with a prolonged scent of fresh flowers. It has a good acidity that blends well with its flavor, making it balanced.
Perfect with appetizers, pasta dishes based on vegetables, white meats and fresh cheeses. Serve at 8-10 °C.

LA PIEVE

IGT Bianco Umbria

Wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, harvested manually during the first week of September from a vineyard reared in spurred cordon with an average production of about 50 tons/hectare. After being transported in small cases, they are subjected to a short cryomaceration before a low pressure pressing. Fermentation with natural yeasts without temperature control. Aging for a short period in steel and only mechanical filtration before bottling.

Sensory Card

Straw yellow colour tending to greenish, pleasantly fresh with a sustained acidity and an elegant background of ripe fruit. Perfect with risotto and white meats, hot appetizers based on fish and vegetables. Serve at temperatures between 8 and 10 °C.

GRECHETTO

IGT Grechetto Umbria

Wine made from Grechetto grapes, harvested manually between the second and third decade of September from a vineyard reared in spurred cordon with an average production of about 50 tons/hectare. Transported in small cases and pressed at low pressure. Fermentation with natural yeasts without temperature control. Aging for a period of 12 months and only mechanical filtration before bottling.

Sensory Card

Golden yellow colour. Fruity and mineral, dry taste, quite warm, good acidity and flavour. Ideal with first courses with mushrooms and truffles, legume soups, but also with fish, and medium-aged cheeses.

ROSATO

IGT Rosato Umbria

Wine made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, harvested manually during the first week of September from a vineyard reared in spurred cordon with an average production of about 90 tons/hectare. Transported in small crates, they are left to macerate for 36 hours before racking through a low pressure pressing. Fermentation with natural yeasts without temperature control. Aging for a short period in steel and only mechanical filtration before bottling.

Sensory Card

Bright cherry rose colour, fruity aromas, with hints of strawberry and pink apple. It is essentially fresh and poorly structured, ideal with appetizers and seafood dishes.
Serve at temperatures between 8 and 10 °C.
