Inebriate with traditional tastes and fragrances…

For over thirty years we have been making wine with our grapes straight in our cellar and producing wine according to tradition with the highest quality standards.

We use precautions which make a great wine: we harvest the grapes in small boxes by hand, we press the grapes with an extremely low pressure and we use only local yeasts to exalt their potentialities.

IGT Umbria White Wine

The wine has been made with an assembly of Trebbiano Toscano (75%), Grechetto (15%) and Malvasia (10%) grapes, which have been picked by hand between the second and third decade of September from pruned-spur cordon-trained vineyards with an average production of about 90 q.li/ha. The grapes have been carried in small boxes and they have been pressed at low-pressure. The fermentation has been made with selected yeasts without temperature control. Brief refinement in steel and only automatic filtration before bottling.

Sensory Data

The wine has a vivid colour, fruit and floral aromas. It is fresh in the mouth and it has a good tastiness. We can combine this wine with vegetables appetizers, eggs sauces and white meats, light entrees and main courses. To be served at 8-10°C.

LA PIEVE

IGT Umbria White Wine

We produce our wine with pure Chardonnay grapes, which we have gathered by hand during the first week of September from pruned-spur cordon-trained vineyards with an average production of about 50 q.li/ha. The grapes carried in small boxes have a cryomaceration before a low-pressure pressing. The fermentation has been made with natural yeasts without temperature control. Brief refinement in steel and only automatic filtration before bottling.

Sensory Data

The wine is pale yellow and scented. It has a dry taste with an elegant aftertaste of ripe fruit. To be served between 10 and 12°C.

GRECHETTO

IGT Grechetto Umbria

We produce our wine with Grechetto grapes, which we have gathered by hand during the second and third decade of September from pruned-spur cordon-trained vineyards with an average production of about 50 q.li/ha. The grapes carried in small boxes have had a low-pressure. The fermentation has been made with natural yeasts without temperature control. We have done a refinement for 12 months and only automatic filtration before bottling.

Sensory Data

The wine is straw yellow, fruity and mineral. It has a dry and quite warm taste. It has a good acidity and a good tastiness. It is ideal with fish or vegetable entrees and white meats. To be served between 10° and 12°C.

ROSATO

IGT Rosato Umbria

We produce our wine with pure Sangiovese grapes, which we have gathered by hand during the first week of September from pruned-spur cordon-trained vineyards with an average production of about 90 q.li/ha. The grapes carried in small boxes have a maceration for 36 hours before a racking off with a low-pressure pressing. The fermentation has been made with natural yeasts without temperature control. Brief refinement in steel and no filtration before bottling.

Sensory Data

The wine is light red with fruity aromas and a note of strawberry and pink apple. It has a fresh and sapid taste. It is ideal with appetizers and white meat, fish and crustacean entrees.

PECORARI

IGT Umbria Red Wine

The wine has been made with an assembly of Sangiovese (70%), Merlot (15%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%) grapes, which have been picked by hand between the second and third decade of September from a pruned-spur cordon-trained vineyard with an average production of about 90 q.li/ha. The grapes have been carried in small boxes and have a maceration for 10 days without temperature control before a racking off with a low-pressure pressing. Brief refinement in steel and no filtration before bottling.

Sensory Data

The wine is vibrant with cut grass and red berries aromas. It is fresh, tannic and quite balanced. To be served between 14° and 16°C with gravy entrees and red meats preferably baked.

MERUM

IGT Umbria Red Wine

The wine has been made with pure Merlot grapes, which we have gathered by hand during the second decade of September from a pruned-spur cordon-trained vineyard with an average production of about 60 q.li/ha. The grapes carried in small boxes have a maceration for 18 days without temperature control before a racking off with a low-pressure pressing. We have done a refinement for 24 months in glass block tanks and no filtration before bottling.

Sensory Data

The wine is dragon’s blood and it has a granular reflection with an herbaceous aroma. It is ideal for red meats and complex dishes. To be served between 16° and 18°C.

OINOS

IGT Umbria Red Wine

The wine has been made with Sangiovese (50%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (50%) grapes, which we have gathered by hand between the second and third decade of October from a pruned-spur cordon-trained vineyard with an average production of about 60 q.li/ha. The grapes carried in small boxes have a maceration for 18 days without temperature control before a racking off with a low-pressure pressing. We have done a refinement for 30 months in glass block tanks and no filtration before bottling.

Sensory Data

It is a ruby and almost granular wine. It has faded rose, black pepper and nutmeg aromas. The wine has also an aftertaste of red fruits macerated in alcohol. It is enveloping with smooth but farm tannins. Oinos is perfect with red meats and game. To be served between 16° and 18°C.
